Diamond Alchemy Symbol Meaning

Diamond Alchemy Symbol Meanings: I was recently asked about the diamond as an alchemy symbol.

The diamond is a symbol of refracting light from the alchemist perspective. As such, the diamond meaning is about the journey our souls make when we are trying to achieve higher understanding.

The goal for mankind is to walk a path on which our souls will shine and sparkle as brightly as the diamonds. On this path there will be many labyrinth turns (representative of the angles and facets of the diamond).

But if we travel the path with honorable hearts, and if we are aware of the reflective nature of our lives (our actions reflecting in our reality), we will accomplish our mission of light.

“We have to remember that what we observe

is not nature itself,

but rather nature exposed to our

methods of questioning.”

~ Ludwig Wittgenstein

In the Talmud we read about diamond meaning from positions of authority. Specifically, a diamond was worn by the high priest.
